 3/26/02--This website will no longer be updated from now on. The team lasted about 1 year and now things have changed. Have fun, goodbye. 11/18/01--Joe Flanagan and Mike Ray are removed from the website. Joe quit skating a few weeks ago, and we never even heard from Mike since the day he talked to us. 8/19/01--We have a new team member from Illinois. His name's Mike Ray, and he seems to be pretty good. Welcome him to the team. He'll just be sending his skate pics through email, so that's how we're going to put them on the site. See his info. 7/27/01--We have decided to make a new website, one which uses all Flash. It's pretty cool but it won't be up for a while. Take a look if you want. 7/14/01--James & Dan are back from England today and they brought back great photos. We finally have some international photos on our site so that is great. Check out the pics. 6/24/01--The Flash nav bar on the home page suddenly just disappeared so I don't think that we should use it if it's not going to work for more than 3 days. I took it down. 6/22/01--I got my new camera today. It's digital and has a lot more features than my old one. It's pretty cool. I will be able to edit the pictures better with it and when we get the video editing program we can begin on making our video. 5/21/01--There is a new skatepark that is being constructed that is indoors and almost completed. It's in Tempe and it's called SDG Skatepark. It's huge, and has many more bowls and ramps than the Wedge. The only problem is you have to pay for it each time you want to get in, but memberships are available that will cut down the cost if you go a lot. The first scheduled open session is Friday, June 1. They also have summer camps and lessons. Check out their site. 5/13/01--I got an email from Joe today, and he said that he will be going to some skate park called Eisenberg in about 2 weeks. He's taking his camera I guess, he said he'll have pics and videos to send us. That'll be good. Hopefully we can finally go skating as a whole team soon. 5/1/01--Ok I got some Salomons today so you guys aren't the only ones doing the tricks around here anymore... although I can't really do much yet I'll be getting there slowly so you just watch. 4/27/01--I got a new webcam for getting our pictures onto the site. The new camera takes pictures instantly, not delayed a few seconds, and has higher quality. It also can allow us to put short movies onto the site, with sound. Unfortunately for some reason, when I try to upload it onto the server that holds the movies for us, it says the file is corrupt, which is just a load of crap. So I'm going to try to find out why this isn't working, and hopefully have it fixed fairly soon... but I'm not sure how long it will take. 4/22/01--We went to the Wedge competition on Friday. There were no members of Color Six participating though. It was pretty cool and there were tons of people there. Hopefully James, Dan, and Peter will participate next year. Also, while we were there, we got some of our "advertising" up around the park. 4/10/01-- Since we have Friday off this week it would probably be a good time to go skate. As for the incident on the weekend with the security gaurd, it turns out that some of Test Division was there earlier and had been told to leave 3 times before we arrived, so I guess they thought we were them. 4/8/01-- Ok well I got the news section up so I guess thats all the news for today. |
